An official first-source about the artist Dmitri Vrubel (1960–2022), created and maintained by his estate.
This website is a project by Alexander Vrubel, son and heir of Dmitri Vrubel. It exists to present the artist’s work accurately and in one place — from The Brotherly Kiss on the Berlin Wall to the wider body of painting, the Gospel Project, Putiniana and the Artist’s Diary — and to serve as a reliable point of reference for museums, galleries, collectors, researchers and the press.
Dmitri Vrubel (1960–2022) was a Russian artist, known internationally for the mural “My God, Help Me to Survive This Deadly Love” (The Brotherly Kiss), painted on the East Side Gallery of the Berlin Wall in 1990. His work is held in public and private collections and has been shown internationally.
The estate preserves, researches and presents Dmitri Vrubel’s artistic legacy, and develops a programme of limited editions of selected works. For any question — works, editions, exhibitions, image use or press — please get in touch.
